Dina Meyer was raised and born in Forest Hills Queens New York. When she was finishing junior high, she moved from Queens and moved to Dix Hills Long Island. Her brothers include Gregory, her elder brother, and Evan. When she was between the ages of 9 to 16 the first time she was exposed to the industry was when she began modeling. Ron Stetson was her teacher at The Neighborhood Playhouse where she started studying Sanford Meisner's acting methods for about three years. Sandra Bullock was among those who studied in this way and so were Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum Leslie Nielsen and Diane Keaton. She got her first part in the soap-opera Beverly Hills, 90210, in which she had to relocate away from Los Angeles. Her debut role was Johnny Mnemonic.
