Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American singer and actress whose dramatic variety earned her acclaim in a variety of genres ranging from period drama to action and thriller. Johansson lived in New York City as the daughter of an architect, and also an executive from a production firm. Her twin brother Hunter and her were the youngest siblings. By the time she was seven years old, her love of acting had grown. She began to audition for commercials. The passion for acting developed quickly and she enrolled immediately to the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. She made her debut as a film actress in North (1994) at the age of nine. When she was eight years old, she was a part of Ethan Hawke on Off-Broadway in Sophistry. Johansson later appeared in Just Cause (1995) but her first breakthrough came with Manny & Lo (1996) an upcoming film that follows abandoned sisters who escape. Next, she received critical praise for portraying the role of a teenager who experienced an accident which caused her to be damaged as she appeared in The Horse Whisperer (1998). The film gained her more acclaim for her performance in Ghost World (2002) as the outcast cynical Rebecca. In addition to her role in the TV series, she has also been an actor on stage for several years. Her stage performances include some of the most impressive performances, including in Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith started her profession in the entertainment industry from a very young age. As a child, she became fascinated with acting. Smith's parents aided her in finding her first stage role in the age of six. In a commercial on television, she starred as Dannon Yogurt. Like many other actresses starting out, she decided to perfect her art in the realm of theater. She took part in different projects in the USA in the midst of making her debut on stage. She was a student at in the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
